Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) starts getting December Security Patch

Samsung starts rolling out December Security patch on its Galaxy A5 (2017). The update comes with firmware version A520FXXU3BQLA. Galaxy S8, S8 Plus, S6 Edge Plus, S7 and S7 Edge already got the December Security patch.

The update weighs around 431 MB in size. It includes security patch which packs with a sloppy 66 fixes that Google released for the Android operating system. For the Samsung software itself, the patch contains another 10 fixes. Other than this it includes many optimizations and bug fixes.

Samsung is rolling out this December security patch via OTA. So it might take some time to reach each and every user in the world. So if the Notification doesn’t appears on your phone than don’t panic. Meanwhile, You can check the update manually by going through the settings>>about phone>>software updates.

Note:Download the update on WiFi network to avoid data charges. Moreover, before installing the update charge phone at least upto 50%.
