Samsung Galaxy Core Prime and Galaxy Tab A 8.0 Starts Getting April security patch

Samsung has started rolling out April security patch update to its Samsung Galaxy Core Prime and Galaxy Tab A 8.0 variants. This update is being pushed Over-The-Air (OTA) and all eligible users will receive the update notification. However, you can always check manually to see if the update has arrived. Since the update is released as OTA, it may take few days to reach all the users.

This is to note here that the update is a monthly security patch release. It is advisable that all users should install the update since it consists of important bug fixes and performance enhancements. Apart from security patch and bug fixes with performance enhancements, it also includes stability improvements for your device.

The software update is tagged with build number G360FXXS1BQD2 and G361FXXU1AQD1 for Galaxy Core Prime and Galaxy Core Prime LTE respectively. While Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is receiving the update with build number P350ZSU1BQD5.
