Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus Announced; Packs 1.2 GHz Dual-Core Processor, Android 4.1 And Much More

Here’s Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus announced by Samsung as Galaxy S2 brand new variant. Earlier it was also rumored in month of December last year.

Specs of phone are much similar to S2 but main change is software as its running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. It has a 4.3-inch (800 x 480 Pixels) Super AMOLED Plus capacitive touch screen display and is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor. Further 1GB of RAM is also same and camera wise users are treated to an 8 megapixel rear facing camera that features a zero-lag shutter speed that captures moving objects easily without delay, and around the front is a two megapixel shooter. On board storage is just 8GB, but is expandable by microSD card which Samsung says is supported upto 64GB.

There’s optional NFC too – the I9105 S II Plus without it is 8.5mm thick while the NFC-enabled I9105P is a hair thicker at 8.9mm along with battery of 1750 mAh. It also comes with Samsung’s unique features such as S Voice,  Popup Video, Smart Stay, Direct Call, Smart Alert and AllShare Play.

There’s no launch date or pricing info on the Samsung I9105 Galaxy S II Plus yet.
