Samsung Galaxy S4 Hits Record Sales Of 6 Million In Two weeks

Samsung’s flagship device – Galaxy S4 has breached its predecessors record of sales. Until the May 10th of this month, Samsung has shipped 6 million galaxy S4 units and its estimated that it will chase 10 million mark by the end of this month.

Beside the rumors of the upcoming Nexus devices scheduled for Google IO, Samsung Galaxy S4 is breaking and creating records. Its like the similar situation as that of Apple’s opening weekend sales. detailing, major sales were made after the first four days of the device’s launch aka total of 4 Million handsets were shipped in the first four days. here are Samsung Official’s wordings

“As of the end of April, we supplied four million Galaxy S4 handsets to telecommunication operators around the world, As of Friday, we have sold more than 6 million units, and we predict that we could break the 10-million mark by as early as the end of this month.”

Its really great thing for Android Operating System. Well, now we are waiting for Google IO 2013 to kick off and its also expected that Samsung will also hold an event there at IO to launch Google Edition of Samsung Galaxy S4.
