Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ starts getting November security patch in Canada

Samsung Finally starts rolling out November Android security patch for its Galaxy S8 and S8+. Both the phones along with Galaxy Note 8 already got November Security update in US and India. Recently, Galaxy S8 duo received the Android Oreo beta update.

Coming back to this update, it includes November Security patch which brought in many fixes but main is the WiFi-KRACK vulnerability. In total, there are 61 Android vulnerabilities that have been addressed and six exploits on Samsung’s software. Apart from the security features, Samsung has also added fix for Bluetooth connectivity.

The Update is rolling out all over the world over the air. So don’t panic if it does not appear on your phone right away. The update will reach you in next couple of days. meanwhile you can always check it by going through the settings>>about phone>> software updates.

While downloading make sure you are on Wifi network as it is a large update. Before start installing the update make sure you charged your phone at least up to 50%. Its worth telling you that Samsung will soon launch Galaxy S9 in the market with the latest snapdragon 845 Soc.
