Samsung Galaxy Tab S Set To Be Unveiled On June 12

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S is all set for being revealed, the date for its announcement being confirmed as June 12. This date was also confirmed by Samsung Mobile head J.K. Shin who recently said in a interview to Wall Street Journal that Samsung will be unveiling a range of tablets on June 12.

The 10.5″ device will have a full AMOLED display with a great resolution of 2560X1600 that will clock in about 287ppi. The device supposedly has an 8MP camera on its back an a 2MP camera on its front. Flash on the rear and the front will however be missed. Samsung also plans to release this tablet’s younger and elder siblings. The 8.4″ version codenamed Klint which will have a screen density of 359 ppi while the elder sibling named Warhol will have a 13.5″ 227ppi screen which is by far the only tablet to have an LCD screen.

The device will be powered by Exynos 5420 CPU with 1.9 GHz quad-core Cortex-A15 cluster and 1.3 GHz quad-core Cortex-A7 cluster along with 3GB of RAM. The device is expected to run on Android KitKat 4.4.2.
