Samsung rolling Android 7.0 Nougat for Galaxy On Nxt in India

Android Oreo 8.0 Oreo has been out for quite sometime now. However, there remains a list of devices from several OEMs that are yet to taste Android Nougat. Samsung Galaxy On Nxt is the latest device from Samsung to receive an year old Nougat OS in India. The smartphone was launched in India with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box. The update comes with build number G610FXXU1BQH8 and weighs 1139.63MB in size.

The long-awaited update brings a plethora of new features like New settings menu, Quick settings feature, multi-window, improved notifications, enhanced Doze Mode, and New Multi-window feature that allows the user to switch between apps with a double tap or run two apps side by side.

The update has started rolling out over-the-air (OTA) and will be available on your device in quite sometime, if not already. You can check for the update manually by going through the Settings > About Phone > Software Update.

This latest update is quite large in size and therefore, you should charge you device to at least 80 percent before you begin downloading. It is also advised that you connect your smartphone to a trusted Wi-Fi to seamlessly download the update.
