Samsung W2018 Flip Phone launched with Bixby and 1.5 aperture camera

Today at an event in Xiamen city of China, Samsung has officially launched the W2018 flip phone. The launch has marked a new era of flip phones once again, this time it is running on Android rather than Symbian and other OS. Samsung W2018 packs decent features like Snapdragon 835 and 6GB of RAM. The highlights are the presence of Bixby on the top with 1.5 large aperture camera. Today, it was even spotted at TENAA, Chinese certification agency.

It packs 4.2 inch AMOLED Displays with full HD support. In order to hold up two big displays, Samsung has added 2300 mAh battery with Snapdragon 835 on board. To boost up the processing power and enable much better multiprocessing, Samsung has added 6 GB of RAM. Samsun added 64 GB internal and expandable upto 256 GB storage.

Samsung W2018 has Bixby on board, it is Samsung’s first AI intelligent voice app supporting Chinese language as of now. As of now, Bixby Chinese version is only available in Note 8 and S8, today the Korean giant added W2018 to the list.

Talking about the large 1.5 aperture camera, it packs OIS and full dual-core focus.  The camera is smart enough to switch between different apertures as per the light. In dark it will switch to F1.5 large aperture, and when the light is sufficient, will switch to F2.4 aperture.

There’s a fingerprint sensor on the board and it will be available in market in two color –  Silver and Gold.

Samsung has not given any pricing detail as of now
