Samsung Will Develop a 2-in-1 slot for UFS and microSD memory cards

Samsung recently launched its New Universal Flash Storage (UFS) cards. Since then all us are curious about these Cards. So Now again news came out that Samsung will develop a 2-in-1 slot for UFS and microSD memory Cards.

Droid Life confirms that Samsung says-

“The new UFS cards are not compatible with the current microSD card socket. However, we have developed a socket design that can support both UFS cards and microSD cards. We are working with different partners in the industry on this integration for next-generation devices.”

The Universal flash storage(UFS) memory cards works as fast as the SSD storage in the computers. You can read a 5 GB movie in 10 seconds, or shoot and write to it RAW photos in sequential bursts. Samsung measures 530 MB/s sequential read speeds and  170 MB/s write speeds of UFS memory Cards.

Still there is no information on Price and availability date in the market. As Galaxy Note 7 is up for Launch in few weeks so it might be a chance that it becomes the first smartphone to gets the compatibility of UFS cards.
