Sony Xperia XZ Premium receiving July Security Patch update

Sony has started to rollout the July Security patch to the Xperia XZ device. Sony Xperia XZ premium has recently received the June security patch with several changes. Similarly, as like for June security patch, Google has added fixes for various security loopholes. Users of the Xperia XZ has started receiving the update via build number build 47.0.A.7.90.

It seems pretty good that Sony is providing the latest updates atleast to its flagship devices. Well, talking about the update, it weighs in around 320 MB, we suggest you to switch to WIFi network before proceeding for the update.

The new update brings in various performance tweaks with security fixes. Every month, Google rolls new security bulletin which packs fixes for various vulnerabilities and addresses all the major flaws in the Android system.

This new update will bring in better stability to the overall experience of the Xperia XZ premium.

Before updating, make sure you are connected to the WiFI network and also charge up your device up to 50%. It will allow you to install the update without any issue.
