Sprint 4G LTE Coverage Reaches Parts Of San Francisco, New York And Much More

Sprint has now introduced its 4G LTE coverage in big cities. According to Sprint they have lighten up LTE in most of the parts of the cities like San Francisco, Washington DC and New York. There are some towns in Florida including Jacksonville, Miami and Tampa which are also included in this latest Sprint 4G LTE rollout.

Currently users can access Sprint 4G LTE service with devices, such as the iPhone 5 or Samsung Galaxy S3, without worry. Sprint on its part during January 2012 lit up LTE towers in 58 markets.

According to Engadget, Sprint’s LTE speed in San Francisco, peaks of 16.7Mbps down and 9.4Mbps up “with full signal but performance varied wildly, even block to block”.

Customers can check specific coverage in their own regions on maps on Sprint’s website.
