Update: Gmail Auto Image Loading Lands On Android

Yesterday Google rolled out update for its Gmail Android App with new features like set up your vacation responder, send and download attachments and many more. Today, Google rolled out one more update to the Gmail App which lifted its version to 4.7.2.

In this latest update Google added ability to auto load images along with unnamed bug fixes. After the upgrade, Gmail auto image loading will be automatically enabled and if you want to turn it off you can by jumping to settings and turn things on and off. For desktop users, Google has already delivered this feature a while ago.

There’s also one new security feature which Google promised in December for all versions of the Gmail. Now all the images on the Gmail will passed from its own proxy servers now, which means email senders can’t use images for malicious purposes. So now there’s no reason behind to not to load images unless the reason is data limitations. You can update the Gmail to version 4.7.2 by heading to the Play Store link below.
