Verizon Moto Z Play is now Receiving Android 8.0 Oreo Update

Motorola Moto Z Play was launched a long time ago in 2016. The device originally comes with the Android Marshmallow though recently in the month of May 2018 the device has luckily received the Android Oreo update. If you are using a Verizon Moto Z Play handset then you may haven’t received the update yet. As suggested by the official information from Verizon the device is now getting the fresh Android Oreo update. So without wasting any time let’s know more about it.

The Verizon Moto Z Play is generally known as the Moto Z Droid Edition. The OTA update is arriving on the handset with the software version: ODN27.76-12-30-2. The major change this update brings is the all-new June 2018 security patch which was much needed. The device’s interface has now been revamped and the update brings all new features which are limited to Android 8.0 Oreo. Some features which now a user can user are notifications dots, adaptive icons, PIP(Picture in Picture) mode, Autofill framework, Smart text selection, etc.

As described by changelog the performance of the device has also been improved and now apps run more smoothly. High-quality Bluetooth audio codecs have been introduced which will enhance your music experience. We would suggest you use a good Wi-Fi connection.
