Vivo V11 Pro gets Android Pie update in India

Last year in September, Vivo announced a mid-ranger with Super AMOLED display monikered as Vivo V11 Pro. The device which comes out of the box with the FunTouch OS 4.5 on the top of Android 8.1 was later launched in emerging market such as India. Due to its decent pricing and better specs, it performed well in the country. Now, Vivo is finally pushing a major update to the device in the form of Android Pie or FunTouch OS 9.0.

The coveted update is rolling out on every Vivo V11 Pro devices out in India. With a whopping 3.11GB in size, the OTA update brings additional features over the Android Pie.

The FunTouch OS, Vivo’s custom Android skin, like other custom UI’s packs a lot of features that are not available on stock. It brings a new UI with intricate details to complement the boost in V11 Pro’s performance. Along with the refreshed UI, users gets a Dark Mode which uses darker colors in the UI to improve the viewing experience and conserve battery on the AMOLED display. Furthermore, the update brings certain improvements to the camera and the smart Assistant Jovi.

Additionally, the update brings an updated gaming assistant for better utilization of resources. The Vivo V11 Pro also gets a Game Box mode for a realistic three-dimensional sound experience while gaming. And, a lot of other goodies which you can experience after updating your device.
