Xiaomi Mi 5X to repack with Android One avatar with the new name of Xiaomi A1

Xiaomi has partnered with Google in India to launch its first Android One device. Android One is a project, launched by Google for developing nations, to provide the updated softwares at lenient prices. Under this project, Google partners with major OEMs in the native country to provide the best available hardware in under $100 or $200 (low cost). Google gives latest updates and features to the Android One devices for the span of couple of years.

In India, Xiaomi has partnered up with the Xiaomi to launch a new Android One device. It is named as Xiaomi A1. If reports are to be believed, then XIaomi Mi 5X is going to pack the same hardware specs as that of the Xiaomi 5X.

If it is true, then it is going to be the first device, to carry the mid level hardware on Android One devices.

As a reminder, Xiaomi 5X is powered by Snapdragon 625 having 4GB of RAM option. It is one of the best device that is offering 5.5″ 1080p panel having thin bezels and overall thin design. Further, there’s  only 64 GB of internal storage variant with 4GB of RAM.
