Alleged Xiaomi WearOS 3 Smartwatch gets a couple of certifications

Amid back-to-back smartphone launches, and the recently unveiled fitness band and smartwatch – Smart Band 8 and Xiaomi Watch S1, Xiaomi seems to be coming with another smartwatch. As reported a month ago, the Xiaomi WearOS 3 Smartwatch is finally making its way to public certifications. The Xiaomi Watch today surfaced on EEC and TUV PLS certification bearing model number M2235W1 .

Precisely, it was listed on April 23, 2023 at TUV PLS and on April 25, 2023 at the EEC. However, there’s no information regarding the specifications of the smartwatch but confirms its model number. Conclusively, we expected the smartwatch to launch in the coming few weeks.

Considering the recent talks about Xiaomi’s WearOS-based Watch, it will bring Google Play Services and full WearOS. It will keep the same “Xiaomi Watch” name and will fit in the existing non-Wear OS watches lineup. The watch will work with the Mi Fitness (Xiaomi Wear) app.

With the incoming WearOS 3 Watch from Xiaomi, we expect other Chinese brands to join the WearOS 3 bandwagon this year.
