Android Distribution of March 2017: Marshmallow at 31.3%, Nougat at 2.8%

Android Distribution for the month of March 2017 is here and Lollipop is still at top with 32.5% of Android Market Share. Marshmallow is trailing Lollipop with 31.3% of Market share. Nougat is getting near to 3% of the pie (2.8% devices on Nougat till this month).

Nougat has jumped from 1.2% to 2.8%, more than doubling its share of Android devices. Most updates rolling out to older devices are on API level 24. Meanwhile, Android 7.1 is only on Nexus and Pixel devices.

Well, KitKat stands at 20.8% (21.9%), and Jelly Bean at 10.6% (11.3%). Gingerbread is also standing at 1.0%.

Hope soon the Nougat will receive climb more percentage in the Pie chart.

The above mentioned numbers are calculated by compiling the seven days traffic to PLay Store ending March 6th.
