Asus Zenfone 2 Laser starts getting Google Assistant via an OTA Update

Google Assistant arrives on Asus Zenfone 2 Laser via an OTA update. Recently Asus has rolled out the february secuirty update to the Asus Zenfone 2 Laser. Now coming back to this update, the update comes with software version 21.40.1220.2044.

The main feature in this update is GMS APK which hints at the release of Google Assistant for the Asus ZenFone 2 Laser device. The update also contains some other features also. Full changelog of the update is written below.

  • Update GMS APK
  • Update AsusLauncher
  • Update several APPs
  • Add DTAC APK: 4DBOOKFREE, Capture, DTAC and dtacMusicInfinite.

As this is an OTA update, It might get some time to reach you in case you did not get the update notification yet. You can check it manually by going through the settings of the your phone.
