AT&T Moto Z2 Force starts getting September Security patch

AT&T starts rolling out a firmware update on Motorola’s Moto Z2 Force. The Update comes with the Build number NCX26.122-59-8-6. However, the main highlight of the update is September Android Security Patch and BlueBorne fix.

Moto The update is based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and weighs arounds 85 MB. It fixes the BlueBorne security threat, it exposed billions of smartphones, tablets, PCs, and even IoT devices worldwide, including Android, iOS, Windows, and Linux OS. . Along with this September security patch is also included which just a regular monthly patch no new features. But this update contains BlueBorne fix so you must install this update.

The update is rolling out over the air so it might take couple of days time to reach each and every users out there. So don’t panic if the update notification is not popped up on your phone. You can always check for the update by going through settings>> About phone>> software updates.

For a reminder, Moto Z2 Force was launched back in July 2017. It run on the latest Android Nougat 7.1.1, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. When it comes to storage it’s pretty fine too with 64GB onboard and huge 512 gb expandable. It has a RAM of 4 GB and an internal memory of 64GB(as said before).
