BBC iPlayer Radio Android App Now Available For Download

BBC has launched its iPlayer Radio Android App and its now available from the Play Store. According to reviews its believed that Android App is much better than iPlayer Radio’s iOS App. BBC initially quoted about Android App in October last year during iOS App Launch and now it has finally landed on Android after 6 months.

Developers have tweaked it in order to make it compatible with Tablets also and UI has also been changed (in comparison with iOS App) to better suit the Android user. With the app you can access High Quality Live Stream and on demand radio. BBC said, “Using HLS has a number of benefits including the ability to efficiently access high quality live and on-demand audio whilst allowing you to continue to use other apps on your device at the same time, and allows us to develop exciting new features in the future.”
