Galaxy J7 Pro starts receiving November security patch with KRACK fix

Samsung starts rolling out November security patch on Galaxy J7 pro. Recently, company has rolled out November security path to group of its devices. Which includes Samsung Galaxy S8, S8+, Note 8, Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge.

Coming to this update, It packs with KRACK exploit that affects millions of Wi-Fi-enabled devices. There have been no reports of major exploitation of the KRACK vulnerability, but it’s an critical fix nonetheless. However, the main highlight of the update is NOvember security patch which includes fixes for 61 vulnerabilities found in the Android OS. Patches for six vulnerabilities in Samsung’s software are included as well.

However, the update is rolling out all over the world over the air. So don’t panic if it does not appear on your phone right away. The update will reach you in next couple of days. meanwhile you can always check it by going through the settings>>about phone>> software updates.

While downloading make sure you are on Wifi network as it is a large update. Before start installing the update make sure you charged your phone at least up to 50%.
