Google Asked To Pull Gmail 4.2 Download Links

As you guys know we posted days ago about new Gmail 4.2 and its features. But Yesterday Google asked Android Police (source of gmail 4.2 and its features article), to pull download links of Gmail 4.2 from their website. The news came under scanner after AP  posted:

FYI: Google asked us to take down the Gmail apk mirrors fromhttp://www.androidpolice.com/2012/10/12/exclusive-download-the-unreleased-gmail-4-2-apk-with-pinch-to-zoom-and-more/ [sic], and we have complied with their request.

on their Google+ page. Google is doing this to be make it debut via rumored Nexus 4 phone at the end of this month. So It’s understandable why Google would want to keep as many Android 4.2 details hidden before the upcoming media event, and the new Gmail app is definitely no exception.
