Google IO 2013 Roundup: From Developers To Users

Well most of the announcements are over at Google IO 2013 and that too without the much awaited, new Android 4.3 announcement. It is now rumored for July Launch along with the new Nexus 7.

Google announced many new advancements in the old products and introduced many new ones to give users better environment and opportunities for entertainment, development, etc. This year Google emphasized and launched recreated versions of its old products to improve their timelines or lifetime.

On May 15 Google started its yearly Moscone Center, San Francisco. On day one Google showed off stats about its Android Operating System.

Pichai called the milestone “an extraordinary ecosystem achievement,” but joked “there are 7 billion people in the world, so we have a long way to go, and we think we’re just getting started.”[/box_light]

[box_light]Then After Google Announced new developer tools for Location aka new APIs for better locating and are named as  ”Geofencing”, ”Activity Recognition” and”Fused Location Provider”.[/box_light]

[box_light]Later on they announced new Google Play Games which allows cross-platform gaming experiences and ensure that users can easily switch between their phones and tablets without losing their game states.[/box_light]

[box_light]Heading onto Google Play Music New music streaming service. You can Access subscription service at $9.99/mo with 30 day trial available in US. Google’s Chris Yerga. “We set out to build a music service that didn’t just give you access to a world of music, but helped to guide you through it.”[/box_light]

[box_light]Google Announced the new Galaxy S4 with fully stock Android saying Bye Bye to Touchwiz. It is priced for $649 via Google Play and will go on sale by June 26.[/box_light]

Most changed product — Google+ also experienced about 41+ new changes along with the new Hangout cross platform chat App, card design and much more. You can also checkout G+ saves time by choosing the best images for you ! and detailed functioning of Google+ hashtag feature.

As mentioned above Google also launched Google+ Hangout Mobile App which is now available for download for Android, iOS and chrome. and might get SMS integration and outgoing calls feature.
