Google Reportedly Building A Smartwatch

According to sources its reported that Google is working on Smartwatch. Google is preparing to enter the Smartwatch Market to compete against Motorola MOTOACTV, Pebble Smartwatch and many others. The Financial Times also reports that its being developed by Google’s Android division.

Rumors about Google watch have started after Samsung confirmed its plans to jump in the watch market earlier this week. Samsung’s mobile division, executive vice president, Lee Young Hee has already quoted “We’ve been preparing the watch product for so long.” While  Google competitor, Apple has been looking or developing similar kind of watch. Now need to see when these watches will hit the market.

Currently all above mentioned news about Google Smartwatch is unconfirmed by Google themselves, and naturally any sort of product will be many months away from completion.

So what you say? which one will you pick? From Apple, Google or Samsung?

  • With Google's purchase of Motorola's Mobility division last year, they now own the MOTOACTV. I hope they build on its capabilities (gps, pedometer, mp3, bluetooth, wifi, somewhat weatherproof, audible workout stats).
