HTC Butterfly 2 Spotted At Taiwanese NCC

NCC, the Taiwanese equivalent of America’s FCC recently got a taste of the HTC Butterfly 2. The device is numbered B810x is is expected to hit stores across Asia soon.

And this news comes as a surprise to many as there were rumors earlier about HTC not planning to manufacture a sequel to the Butterfly, as HTC One Max was supposed to run HTC’s race in the phablet segment. but it seems thats not what HTC had in mind. The HTC Butterfly was one much appreciated in its time, for it came with high-end specs and also the first device back then to come with a 1080p display.

And the HTC Butterfly 2 is rumored to follow in the footsteps. The device will supposedly have a 5″ 1080p display and some top-of-the-line specs including the Snapdragon 800 along a quad-core Krait 400 CPU. The device will be available in black, red, brown and silver color options going by the images of the front panels leaked previously.

The pricing of the device still remains a mystery however.
