Today, HTC Droid DNA To Get KitKat Treatment Along With Sense 5.5

HTC had released the the Droid DNA in late November 2012 which featured a Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and Sense 4.0. Previously the device had received Android 4.3 Update along Sense 5.

And since then the device had not been updated. And today the device will be receiving 4.4.2 KitKat and Sense 5.5  update. This news was announced by Executive Director of Product Management at HTC, and the update would roll out on April 24, i.e. today. Also the HTC Butterfly, got the news of KitKat update.

So there is much for the DNA users to be happy, as HTC One X which was released only a couple of months before it, is still on Android 4.2 and will not be receiving any update now. And from now the device’s will come with a guarantee 2 years of updates, though it is ony said for the US.
