HTC U Ultra 128GB with sapphire glass display launched in Europe for €849. The phone comes with one more variant which is packed with Gorilla Glass 5 and 64GB internal storage which is priced at €700. The phone will go on sale in Germany and Switzerland on April 18th.

HTC U Ultra features a 5.7 inch display with a second 2-inch secondary, 160×1040 display also on the top of main display for notifications. Both the display are shielded with latest Gorilla Glass 5/sapphire glass . The phone is powered with Snapdragon 821 quad-core, 2.15GHz processor which is paired with 4GB RAM. The phone is packed with 12MP UltraPixel 2, 1.55-micron pixel camera with f/.1.8 with OIS primary camera and 16 MP front camera. It is running on Android 7.0 Nougat with Sense on top. The phone is backed up by 3000 mAh Battery.

Sapphire glass is very durable it is immensely scratch resistant in a way that no other comparable material. On the Hardness scale only Diamond is tougher than sapphire. So it will be very useful to have it on our phone’s display. Companies are using Sapphire glass as camera glasses and Touch ID home button.
