Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 series is receiving an Android 12L update based on One UI 4.1.1. All the luxuries of the latest update will be available on the Galaxy Tab S6, Tab S6 5G, and Tab S6 Lite devices.

Android 12L update is currently rolling out in Europe and South Korea via the firmware versions T865XXU5DVH2 and T865NKOU5DVH2. Surprisingly, both models received the last updates in January 2020 and April 2020, respectively.
Android 12L is primarily focused on improving UI by taking the advantage of the larger screen in tablets. The new gestures are introduced for better accessibility with features like split-screen and pop-up modes. A single lets users split apps on the viewable display. Moreover, the ability to pin the most used application in the taskbar for better multitasking is a productive feature. These are the primary noticeable features.
Other features include OCR (optical character recognition) which helps extract text from the images. Thereās an Improved Samsung Keyboard, My Files, and new lock screen settings. The Edge Panels feature is also available so that you can easily swipe from the side of the display to get quick access to the most used apps, or can even be customized to contacts and other use cases.
Along with the update the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite also receives a September 2022 Security patch update. While the others (Galaxy Tab S6 and Tab S6 5G) will be getting an August security patch. These devices are eligible to get only security updates in a year.

Samsung is actively pushing OneUI 4.1.1 update based on Android 12L to other flagship tablets including Samsung Galaxy Tab S7/ S7+, and even the Galaxy Z Fold 2 is receiving the update.
