Moto E22s with MediaTek Helio G37 SoC goes official for €159

The Lenovo-owned company has silently unveiled a new E-series smartphone: Moto E22s. The device is an entry-level offering that is currently official in Europe. The company can launch the handset soon in India as well. In the meantime, here’s a detailed look at the specifications, features, price, and other details of the latest Motorola handset.

At the front, the Moto E22s is built around a 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen with a center-aligned punch hole cutout. The panel offers an HD+ resolution of 720 x1600 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate. It sports a polycarbonate back that measures 163.95 x 74.94 x 8.49mm. in dimensions

Under the hood, an octa-core processor based on MediaTek Helio G37 SoC powers the smartphone. The chipset is paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. On the software front, it boosts Android 12 out of the box.

In the optics department, the Moto E22s carries a vertically aligned dual-camera setup alongside an LED flash. The module consists of a 16MP primary lens and a 2MP sensor to measure depth. For selfies and video calls, there’s an 8MP snapper at the front.

In addition, the company ships the device with a 5000 mAh battery, making it weigh 185 grams. The power cell comes with 10W charging support. Also, to serve the security, the handset offers a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and AI face unlock support.

Price and Availability

The Motto E22s is available in Europe in Arctic Blue and Eco Black color options. The device costs €159 for its sole 4GB/ 64GB storage variant. However, the cost for the Indian model can be different.
