Instagram Allows Photo Tagging, Adds “Photos of You” Folder

Instagram has tweaked its Android App little bit for some new major features. Major addition in this new version of the Instagram is  feature that allows users to tag people in photos. Not like Facebook, Only you can tag users or followers in your images.

in a post, Instagram said, “We have always sought to give you simple and expressive ways to bring the stories behind your photos to life. Your captions and hashtags capture the ‘what?’ and your Photo Map answers the ‘where?’ but until today we’ve never quite been able to answer the ‘who?'”

After Image Upload now Instagram will ask you that whether you want to tag followers, after selecting you can add people or tap on users images to tag them.

There’s one another functionality that Instagram has added is the addition of “Photos of You” tab, now whenever you will open tagged image it will open in new tab.

Instagram is changing or tweaking some features in order to allows users to easily share and crawl images.

instagram version 3.5 is available in both Apple’s App Store or on Google Play.
