LG Announces Jelly Bean Update Schedule For Devices

As you we are talking alot about LG these days due to its rumored Nexus Phone but this is not rumor or news about Nexus device. This to to inform you guys that LG has announced schedule for Jelly Bean update to its some device. Supported devices will start getting Jelly Bean update by next month.

First device to get Android 4.1 Jelly Bean is Optimus LTE II which is scheduled to get Jelly Bean update in November, bringing UI improvements and LG apps. Other devices include The Optimus Vu and Optimus Vu 2 which will be upgraded in the first quarter of 2013. LG’s latest flagship phone LG Optimus G will get it by December.

LG has been facing a lot of criticism because of lacklustre software update record as compared to other Android manufacturers. Above mentioned devices are covered by LG’s press release, and we would imagine that this schedule is really aimed at LG smartphone owners in Korea. So guys have no information about updates in US, UK and other parts of europe. While in India these are not launched and LG Optimus G will be the first one to get Jelly Bean when it gets launched in India.
