LG G Watch Gets Remedy To Stop Corrosion In POGO Pins

LG G Watch has issued an OTA update to resolve the corrosion issue on the POGO Pins. TEchnically its update is moving the build number from KMV78V to KMV78Y.

Earlier, when the issue was raised last week it was pointed that Skin is doing an allergic reaction with POGO pins on the watch but later it was rectified as hardware issue. The LG stated in a statement that:

“While completely safe and unlikely to affect charging, LG will be rolling out a maintenance release over the next few days that will disable the current when the G Watch is not in the charging dock. The maintenance release will be rolled out automatically over-the-air to all G Watch owners. We thank G Watch users for their patience and apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.”

In the update LG has disabled the current while the device is not connected to the charging cradle. Other things is LG has disconnected few pins to stop the current flow. It will resolve any issue regarding skin burn and other allergic reactions.

Other things are not confirmed yet. If you received your update you can comment below to let other guys know the changes.
