LG teases audio features of the LG V30 on it’s official blog

LG has been teasing the cutting edge features of the LG V30 on its official blog. Earlier, it was all praises for the industry leading f/1.6 aperture lens of the phone. Now, the company describes what kind of “immersive audio” LG V30 users can expect in a similar post. Now, it’s no secret that the phone will have Hi-Fi Quad DAC that will provide surround sound quality to audiophiles.

LG says “the LG V30 features a 32-bit Advanced Hi-Fi Quad DAC powered by ESS Technology’s SABRE ES9218P. LG’s Hi-Fi Quad DAC presents two new features: digital filters and sound presets. Also, digital filters that are normally only found in Audio players are pre-programmed in the LG V30 software. For optimal settings are available to choose from: enhanced, detailed, live and bass. These settings will ensure audio comparable to expensive headsets, LG states.

LG has also partnered with MQA Ltd. for HD audio recording purposes. LG elaborates that the V30 can record dynamic range of sounds, “from a whisper to a thunderstorm, without distortion.”

The icing on the cake comes in the form of Bang & Olufsen earphones just like it was with the LG v20. The LG V30 is just 3 days from being visible to the public. It should be there on August 31.
