Download MIUI 9 for Mi MIX, Note 2, Mi 5, 5s, 5s Plus, Mi Max, 2, Redmi 4 and Redmi 4X

Xiaomi has posted a new image of the MIUI 9 Global beta. The new build not only packs new features and fixes, it also comes with the support for new devices. In the latest build, XIaomi has made MIUI 9 compatible for Mi MIX, Mi Note 2, Mi 5 and many other devices. Users, who want to use it, they have to flash itas the OTA rollout is not available right now.

Xiaomi is running Behind the schedule, they have already failed twice to give users MIUI 9 on time. This time, they are trying quite hard by rolling out the Beta version of the MIUI 9 to most of the users. In a spree to make it compatible with most of the devices, this is the second time they have extended the support for MIUI 9. The latest devices that are going to get the Xiaomi update are as follows:

  • Mi Note 2
  • Mi 5
  • Mi 5s
  • Mi 5s Plus
  • Mi Max 2

  • Redmi 4
  • Redmi 4X

In order to update your device, you just need to download the MIUI Updater app. it is compatible if you are already running on a MIUI 8 Global Beta ROM. Well, if you are using the MIUI V5, MIUI 6, MIUI 7 and MIUI 8 stable ROM users need to go fastboot route. It is little lengthy but trustworthy.

Xiaomi MIUI 9 Chinese version is also having hurdles and they are also running along with the Global version in terms of development.

The last and third batch of the MIUI 9 Global beta will bring support for some old devices also. We are expecting these devices to support the MIUI 9 in the last build:
