Moto G8 Plus leaks in full glory with detailed specs and pictures

Motorola’s Moto G series is one of the most popular budget smartphone series which is available globally. The 2019’s Moto G8 Plus is still to make its debut but however, it has been leaked already with detailed specs and pictures. According to the source, the phone will be announced on October 24 at an event in Brazil.

Under the hood, the Moto G8 Plus will come equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM. The device will be available in 64GB and 128GB respectively with support for microSD card to expand the storage further if needed. The design of the phone will be similar to that of Moto One series of smartphones. Hence, the back of the phone will be polycarbonate unlike the previous two generations(Moto G6 Plus and Moto G7 Plus) which had glass back design.

On the front, the device will sport a 6.3-inches FHD+(2280 x 1080 pixels) IPS LCD with a U-shaped notch along with a chin. The bottom of the phone will include a speaker grille, a USB Type-C port, and a primary mic. Whereas the top of the device comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack and a secondary mic for noise cancellation. The rear of the phone boasts a triple camera setup along with a fingerprint sensor with the signature Motorola Batwing logo.

The Moto G8 Plus’ triple camera setup will consist of a 48MP primary sensor, a 16MP sensor with a 117-degree ultra-wide lens which will be marketed as ‘action cam’ as present on Moto One Action, and a 5MP depth sensor. There will be another cutout which resembles a camera sensor but however, it is a unit for laser auto-focus. As for selfies and video calls, there will be a 25MP sensor nested in the notch at the top centre of the display. Other standard features of the phone will include dual SIM LTE support, Bluetooth 5.0, and NFC. Lastly, the device will be powered by a 4,000mAh battery with support for Motorola’s Turbo Power fast charging technology.

The 2019 Moto G8 Plus will run Android Pie out of the box and will be available in blue and red colour variants.
