To Bring more functionality or features to their MOTOACTV fitness tracker and music player href=”http://www.motorola.com/” rel=”homepage” target=”_blank” title=”Motorola”>Motorola is working on Major update.
Fitness tracking app will be receiving a major update on March 7 that will allow its users to track their performance across over 40 new activities. The new activities include yoga, href=”http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pilates” rel=”wikipedia” target=”_blank” title=”Pilates”>Pilates, dancing, martial arts, and more. The update will allow users to lock the screen during workouts. By pressing the power key twice, the users can activate the lock and unlock feature of the workout screen.

Other additional developments includes WAHOO BLE HRM Strap support, enhanced syncing of planned interval workouts to MOTOACTV.com, Easier search with revised workout metrics, improved WiFi syncing for multiple networks configurations, and the watch face can now be obtained by hitting the Back key on any Home screen, and more.

To check the current MOTOACTV version, go to Settings, click General, then hit MOTOACTV Status and select System Version.

Users can freely download the software bundle by clicking Device and then select Check for Device Upgrade in MOTOCAST USB.
It’s great to see Motorola expand the device’s capabilities rather than let it fall into obscurity, something other smartwatch makers have been more than happy to let happen.
