Nokia 8 temporarily listed on Nokia’s official website, launch confirmed

Nokia 8 is one of the highly anticipated Android devices scheduled to be released this year. The upcoming Nokia flagship came across several leaks and rumors in past few months and is expected to be unveiled on July 31. This year Nokia made its appearance at the the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 releasing Nokia 6, Nokia 5 and Nokia 3 as the mid-range offerings.

Nokia 8, the company’s first Android flagship recently surfaced on the company’s official website. However, the same was taken down shortly after. It is highly speculated that the company is going to organize a launch event for the Nokia 8 by end of this month. Regardless, the company did not confirm the release yet.

If rumors are to be believed, Nokia 8 will feature a 5.7-inch quad HD display. The device will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset with 4GB of RAM. The flagship handset comes with 64GB of in-built storage.

The most recent leaks claim that Nokia 8 might be featuring dual cameras with 13-megapixel sensors from ZEISS. The device comes pre-loaded with Android 7.1.1 Nougat and cost around $633 USD.
