OnePlus 5 is getting a system stability update as version 4.5.3, fixes Wi-Fi drops and many other things

OnePlus seems to be quite enthusiastic with software updates recently. Just sometime earlier it promised Android O for the OnePlus 3/3T. Now we have an update to improve stability on the way to the OnePlus 5. The update comes to the device just a week after its release. Now that’s how you roll updates.

The new build comes in as Oxygen OS 4.5.3 and solves some glitches and adds some optimizations. Also in the changelog, there is a fix for the expanded screenshot display and improves Wi-Fi stability. There have been some issues with Google Translate which this update fixes as well. OnePlus is also tweaking some camera effects and polishing the app a little bit for stability. Other features tweaked are the auto-brightness adjustment effect and data usage stats accuracy.

You can either download the update from the OnePlus official page or wait for the update to show up by itself. It will require some patience though.
