OnePlus Nord gets OxygenOS 12 F.12 update; gets a ton of fixes and new features!

OnePlus launched its sub-brand “Nord” in the year 2020. It made its entry into the market with the OnePlus Nord smartphone. OnePlus Nord was the first smartphone from the brand to feature a mid-range chipset. All other phones from OnePlus used to feature Snapdragon 8XX series chipsets. OnePlus rolled out the OxygenOS 12 update to the OnePlus Nord 2 smartphone a month ago. It was the second major and last major update to the smartphone. However, the update contained some issues, and users have reported the same to OnePlus. So, OnePlus has pushed an Over the Air (OTA) update to address those issues. The new OxygenOS 12 F.12 update comes with the firmware version number AC2001_11.F.12​. As per the Community post, the update is live in India. The update will soon reach other markets like Europe, North America, etc., in the following days. 

OnePlus has bumped up the security patch from April 2022 to May 2022. It has a ton of fixes related to System, Dark Mode, Shelf, Work Life Balance, Gallery, etc. The significant changes with the System lie in adding Smart Battery Engine. They have also fixed the abnormal crashing of the Camera app. They have also added many options with the Shelf app. OnePlus also adds the Work Life Balance feature, which will allow users to switch between Work and Life modes. The update is incremental and will be available for a limited number of users in the initial days. The broader rollout of the F.12 update will begin in the following days. It will begin only if the users confirm that there are no significant issues with the update. To check if your device has received the update or not, head to Settings and open the System menu. From here, tap on System Updates, and it will pop up a notification if the update is available on your device.
