OnePlus 5 gets out of stock, hinting at the launch of OnePlus 5T or OnePlus 6 ?

OnePlus is the largest brand which gathered 58% of online sales in Indian Premium segment. Well, this premium device streak is still going on and now we are expecting OnePlus 5T or OnePlus 6. The latest from OnePlus is a flagship phone worth $480, performs incredibly good, comes with a worth it Camera performance and long lasting battery life.

OnePlus launched OnePlus 3 in the middle of June 2016, and OnePlus 3T five months later in middle of november 2016. Since, October has started, it is possible that OnePlus rolls out OnePlus 5T or OnePlus 6 next month.

OnePlus 5’s unavailability has made people question that whether OnePlus is planning to roll out its other models or not. OnePlus 5 is out of stock in the US and availability is very limited in other markets as well. So does that mean we are about to get the new flagship phones from OnePlus i.e OnePlus 6 or OnePlus 5T soon?

OnePlus is a shenzhen based Chinese smartphone manufacturer founded by Pete Lau (CEO) and Carl Pei in December 2013. It is Owned by chinese giant BBK Electronics which ownes Oppo and Vivo also. In Q1 2017, BBK Electronics shipped 56.7 million smartphones surpassing both Huawei and Apple to become the 2nd largest smartphone manufacturer in the world, just behind Samsung.

The main goal of OnePlus was to design a smartphone that would balance high-end quality with a lower price than other phones in its class, believing that users would “Never Settle”.

The other brands under BBK Electronics have already rolled out their new phones with minimum bezel, we think OnePlus may follow the trend. To understand how OnePlus phone would look like, you may consider Oppo F5 and Vivo X20’s design for OnePlus 5T or OnePlus 6.
