OnePlus has pushed a new update for the 2018 flagships, i.e., for the OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T. Back in August 2021, they pushed the OxygenOS 11 (Android 11) update for these devices. Like any major update, it came with many issues. The latest update brings the OxygenOS 11.1.1.1 update to the OnePlus six series. It brings the September 2021 security patch to both the OnePlus 6 series smartphones. OnePlus has also improved the gyro sensor sensitivity and fixed the system power consumption which will reduce heating. Reduced heating will also result in better battery life and increases performance. With this, OnePlus has fixed the issues reported by its users since the OxygenOS 11 update. As said above, the update is rolling out as OTA and will be pushed to only a small number of users initially. The broader rollout will begin only after the successful verification of the update.
