OnLive Viewer Comes to Google TV

href=”http://google.com/” rel=”homepage” target=”_blank” title=”Google”>Google has just announced that href=”http://www.onlive.com/” rel=”homepage” target=”_blank” title=”OnLive”>OnLive for href=”http://www.google.com/tv” rel=”homepage” target=”_blank” title=”Google TV”>Google TV is a reality, bringing you console-quality gaming without needing the hardware. Well, sort of. For now we’re only getting the OnLive Viewer application which allows you to watch others’ gameplay and check out stats and leaderboards.

They did say that gaming support would be on its way, though, so it’ll be great to see how that works out when it does eventually launch. You don’t have to pay anything to try it out, either. The first 30 minutes of any game are free so you can get a good feel for what it is, how it plays and how it looks before buying.
