OPPO F7, F7 128G, and Find X receiving February 2021 Security Patch update

As we all know, Oppo is a bit at the backend in providing software updates regularly in comparison with other smartphone brands. A few days back, the company rolled out the February 2021 Security Patch update to the Oppo F11 and F11 Pro users. Now, it began cultivating the February 2021 Security Patch update to the OPPO F7, F7 128G, and Find X users.

OPPO F7 and F7 128G update

The update for OPPO F7 comes on the firmware version CPH1819EX_11_F.25, and Oppo F7 128G bears the firmware version CPH1821EX_11_F.25. Both the ColorOS 7.1 update is based on Android 10 and and weigh nearly 298MB in size. As per the changelog, there’s nothing big in this update apart from the usual changelog which addresses fix for bugs.

OPPO Find X update

Talking about the Oppo Find X update, it is rolling on the build number CPH1871EX_11_F.31. The update is based on the ColorOS Version 7.1 (Skin), and it weighs about 186MB in size. Besides the February Security patch, there’s nothing new in this update.

Similar to all the other updates, it is also rolling out in a phased manner. So, you need to wait for a couple of days to experience the update. Alternatively, you can also head over to Settings>Software updates and check for updates to know the update status. We also suggest you to maintain at least 60% of charging before updating.
