Realme Buds Air 2 will ship with ANC and 25 hours battery backup

Mr. Madhav Sheth – VP of Realme and CEO of Realme India and Europe teased the new TWS earphones — Realme Buds Air 2 TWS will launch on February 24 in India with Realme Narzo 30 series. Buds Air 2 will look similar to the Buds Air Pro. The brand has announced that it will feature Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). A couple of screenshots were revealed by the Realme Link app which discloses some other new features.

The picture displays that, just like Buds Air Pro and Buds Wireless Pro, Buds Air 2 TWS will carry a unique and better design which will be available in Black & white color along with General and Transparency modes. While unlike them, Buds Air Pro will carry with ANC support.

The Buds Air 2 features a 10nm Diamon-like Carbon (DLC) speaker for enhanced audio clarity that will deliver richer bass, clearer output, and better frequency response. Moreover, it will offer a better Game experience with 88ms super-low latency along with a Volume Enhancer. This will carry additional sound effects say Lively, Clear, and Bass Boost+ on board.

For the original Buds Air, the company promised a 17-hour battery. On the other hand, Buds Air 2 will provide 2 hrs backup with 10 minutes of charging. It will deliver 25 hrs of playback time with ANC turned off and 22.5 hrs with ANC activated.

Also, Buds Air 2 will support sensors along with an in-ear detection and Auto-answer like previous TWS earphones. Additionally, Realme has inserted a new gesture — to switch noise cancellation, touch, and hold the left and right earbuds at the same time.

The other new features are still awaited while some are still doubtful. It is not clear whether Realme Buds Air 2 will support wireless charging like first-gen Buds Air or not?
