Samsung Galaxy Folder 2 is Official now in South Korea

The Samsung Galaxy Folder 2 is a combination of folder-based hardware (flip phone) and user-friendly software (Android). You get to experience the old intuitive flip phone with convenient functions of smartphones.

Samsung has launched Galaxy folder 2 in S.Korea. The Galaxy Folder 2 is the second version of the Galaxy Folder, a flip phone running Android.

Digging the specs, we have a 96.6 mm screen encased in metal. Since it is a flip phone, the lower half comprises of a keypad. The flip phone also has other buttons as a shortcut for camera, contacts, and text. Social apps also can be accessed via a special dedicated key.

Further, there is a 1.4 GHz quad-core SoC inside, 2GB of RAM, and 16 GB of storage (expandable up to 256 GB). Owing to the smaller screen, the clamshell can afford a smaller 1,950 mAh removable battery and brings Android 6.0 out of the box. The phone does have an 8MP rear shooter accompanying a 5MP sensor at the front.

The Galaxy Folder 2 launched in Korea is the international variant of the same device launched in China last year. It comes in black and burgundy colors and is priced at 297,000 won ($260).
