Samsung Galaxy J4 leaks via Geekbench listing running Android Oreo

Samsung will be introducing a new member in its Galaxy J series in the form of J4. The Galaxy J4 was first spotted in the list of upcoming Samsung smartphones which was extracted from the leaked Android Oreo build of Galaxy Note 8. Now, once again the phone leaks but this time around in Geekbench, thus revealing some specifications.

According to the Geekbench listing, the Samsung Galaxy J4 will bear the model number SM-J400F. Under the hood, it will feature Samsung’s in-house Exynos 7570 Quad Core processor for power. Further, the processor will have a base clock speed of 1.43GHz and will be coupled with 2GB of RAM. Lastly, it will run on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. These specification clearly put the Galaxy J4 in the entry level segment as the name suggests.

There’s no information available regarding the launch of this new smartphone from Samsung yet. But, it will be launched sooner or later, mostly after the launch of Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus. As they will be the first Samsung smartphones to ship with Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. Last but not least, this upcoming Galaxy J4 will sit between the currently available Galaxy J3 and Galaxy J5.
