Samsung Galaxy M31 receiving Android 11-based One UI 3.0 stable update

A couple of days back, Samsung has rolled out the One UI 3.0 Beta 3 for the Galaxy M31. Now, the company has started seeding out the Android 11-based One UI 3.0 stable update along with the January 2021 Security patch to the Galaxy M31 users. The update is rolling out on the M315FXXU2BUAC Firmware version and as of now, it is currently limited to Indian users only.

What’s new?

The One UI 3.0 stable update comes with Android 11 & One UI 3.0 goodness, chat bubbles, one-time permissions, a conversation section in the notifications area, dedicated media playback widget, refreshed UI design, improved stock apps, etc. However, you will be undergoing all the changes and new features while using your device.

The company is pushing out the update in a phased manner. As a result, it usually takes a couple of days to reach all the units. However, everyone will be experiencing the update within a week. Meanwhile, you can also navigate to Settings>Software updates and check for the updates to manually check the update status. We also suggest you to maintain a minimum of 60% of charging before updating to avoid unnecessary interrupts.

Samsung Galaxy M31 Specifications

At the Q1 of 2020, Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy M31 smartphone by featuring a 6.4-inch display with 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution. It is powered by an Exynos 9611 (10nm) Chipset. The device is available in 6/8GB of RAM and 64/128GB of internal storage. In terms of camera, there’s a triple rear camera and a 32-MP single front-facing camera.
