Samsung Gear Live And LG G Watch Get Their Specs List Confirmed

Google’s I/O developer conference this year has been going good so far, giving us some pretty interesting information that we had been keenly waiting for. And here comes another piece of info that many may find useful. Samsung’s Gear Live and LG’s G Watch have got their specs list confirmed by their respective manufacturers as the Google I/O conference. Rumors had been flying around about both the watches for some time now but finally, both of them have gone official and both look impressive along with Android Wear.

The Samsung Gear Live boasts of a 1.63″ super-AMOLED touch screen with a resolution of 320 x 320. The device comes fitted with 22 mm thick straps and boasts of many other feature like the heart rate monitor, Bluetooth 4.0 and a 300 mAh powerhouse. The device is powered by a 1.2 GHz processor along with 512 MB RAM and 4 GB of non expandable storage memory. The Gear, which measures 37.9 mm x 56.4 mm x 8.9 mm and weighs in at 59 g will soon be made available through Google Play Store in Black and Wine Red color schemes.

Talking of the LG G Watch now, it boasts of a similar sized display that measures 1.65″. The IPS LCD touchscreen display offers a resolution of 280 x 280. Some of the features of the G Watch are Bluetooth 4.0, a 400 mAh powerhouse, 9-axis sensors (gyro, accelerometer, compass) and dust and water resistance. The IP67 certification lets you keep the device underwater for 30 minutes at a depth of 1 m. Under the hood, you’ll find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset along with 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB internal storage memory. It measures 37.9 mm x 46.5 mm x 9.95 mm and weighs in a few extra grams at 63 g. The G Watch will be available in White Gold or Black Titan color schemes. Like the Gear, it too will be made available on the Play Store soon.
