Samsung rolling security improvements update to Galaxy Note 8

Samsung is rolling out a new update to the Galaxy Note 8. It isn’t monthly security patch, it is normal “security improvement” update. It has hit Note 8 devices just after the January security Patch rollout. The update is currently live in Brazil and France, we hope it to arrive soon in other countries also.

Well, it is not sure about what the update packs, but it is expected to carry fixes for major vulnerabilities. Clearly, it seems to carry update for both Meltdown and Spectre security vulnerabilities.

The latest updates the build version to N950FXXU3BRA8. Well, the change log only mentions the “improved security.” So, there is nothing else than the security rectifications in the latest build version.

How many of you have received the update? Also, switch to WiFi network for the update to save additional costs on your carrier. We also suggest you to charge up your device to smoothly update your Galaxy Note 8.
