Samsung starts rolling out February Security Patch on Galaxy A5 (2016)

Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016) starts getting the latest February Security patch. Recently Galaxy A5 (2017) also gets the Feb Security Patch. Right now the update is rolling out in Netherlands, other countries will also get this update very soon.

The Update comes with the firmware version A510FXXU5CRB2 and it weighs around 34 MB size. It mainly packs with security optimization and improvements. February security patch includes the 237 fixes, in this 16 fixes are based on Samsung Phones.

As this is an OTA update, it will take some time to reach each and every user. Meanwhile you can also check for the update by going through settings>>about phone>>software update. Before installing update do charge your phone upto 50%.

For Reminder Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016) is packed with a 5.2-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display. It is powered by Exynos 7580 and Adreno 405. Galaxy A5 (2016) is coupled with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB internal storage which can be expandable up to 256 GB via MicroSD card. It is backed by 2600 mAh battery and Galaxy A7 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of box. The phone also comes with Samsung Pay support.
